About the Artist

Phineas Harper [they/them] is a critic, curator and kinetic sculptor. A regular opinion writer for the Guardian and former Chief Executive of Open City, their artwork has been exhibited at the Royal Academy, Somerset House, San Mei Gallery and the Rotterdam Biennale. They are founder of the design and research practice Architecture of Repair and co-founder of New Architecture Writers, a mentoring programme for aspiring design critics from underrepresented communities.
