Whilst many of us over lockdown were confined to our interior spaces, we found ourselves longing for nature and the outdoors. Kate Bright’s paintings are born of the same longing, and bring us to the outside in entangled, immersive detail and electric colour.

About the Artist:
Bright studied at Camberwell School of Art and Goldsmiths, and is currently Associate Professor at the Slade School of Fine Art UCL. She has had solo exhibitions at the Centro Internacional de Arte de Salamanca, Spain; The New Art Gallery Walsall, UK; Vitamin Contemporary Art, Turin, Italy; and the Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle, UK.
